We flag shoppers who hit a "trifecta" of early adoption, emotional engagement and influential behavior as Leading Edge Consumers. When LECs embrace new shopping modalities, they tend to do so first, with enthusiasm, and encourage others to do the same. 

Joe isolates some shopping trends to see where the Leading Edge Consumer stacks up against the general population, including  VR/AR shopping experiences and "buy" buttons on social media.
